- 3 boxes of used parts

On Saturday we will be filling a container bound for the Centro Salvadoreño de Tecnologia Apropiada (CESTA), Friends of the Earth El Salvador.

Suggested contents are:

250 kids bikes
75 10-speeds with dropped handle bars

470 bikes ...
- 55 frames
- 85 child's
- 20 24" MTBs
- 310 adult's
(mainly MTBs, with some 3-speeds)
8 boxes of parts
33 tires
17 additional wheels
lots of used inner tubes

We will be filling yet another container with bikes, come along and help - the weather forecast for Saturday, 31F with snow flurries ...

These bikes are going to Ability Bikes in Ghana.

We will be filling a container bound for the Panamanian Association of Goodwill Industries in Panama this Wednesday from 10am until 4pm at 2434 S. Western Avenue in Chicago, cooperating with our partners at Bikes for the World.

Pastries, Pizza and comraderie will be in abundance!

These pictures are from the Panamanian Association of Goodwill Industries (Goodwill Panama), which is a well-organized non-profit organization providing skills training and employment to more than 100 people with disabilities.

Goodwill Panama works closely with local Rotary Clubs to oversee and support the bicycle program. These photos illustrate the high degree of organization characteristic of their bicycle repair and marketing program.
