Working Bikes will be holding a bike drive for Earth Day with the Bicycle Task Force in the Abbey parking lot at 407 W. St. Charles Road in Elmhurst, just west of the railroad tracks and York high school.

Elmhurst Bicycle Task Force
The Elmhurst Bicycle Task Force in conjunction with Working Bikes Cooperative will host a Used Bike Drive on April 17, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Abbey parking lot located at 407 W. St. Charles Road in Elmhurst. Working Bikes Cooperative is a non for profit agency that refurbishes old or unusable bikes and re-releases them both locally and internationally. The Drive is scheduled for the week prior the city’s semi-annual garbage sticker amnesty day, when many discarded bikes find their way to the curb sides. Please consider participating in the drive. Not only does it promote recycling, it also provides much needed transportation to people throughout the world."
