Chicago Green Festival
The Chicago Green Festival is held on Navy Pier, Chicago, Illinois. Sponsored by Global Exchange and Co-op America, the Chicago Green Festival will showcase more than 350 green businesses and include numerous speakers, a fair-trade pavilion, yoga classes, green films, a kids' zone, live music and organic dining. Working Bikes (Lee) will be attending.
Lockport Bike Drive
Citizens Against Ruining the Environment are sponsoring a bike drive at Dellwood Park in Lockport during their Earth Day Celebration on Sunday, May 18th.
Chicago's "Bike the Drive"
Working Bikes will offer emergency bike repair during Chicago's "Bike the Drive" ride and may have a booth at the post-ride festival?
Lakeshore Drive is open to cyclists from 5:30am with cars returning at around 10:30am. The post-ride festival is from 8am until noon at Butler Field in Grant Park.
Plainfield & Joliet Bike Drive
The congregation and youth group of Wheatland Presbyterian Church and the greater
Plainfield/Joliet community will be hosting a bike drive at 11839 S. Heggs Road (a.k.a. 260th Avenue), Plainfield, IL 60585.

The Global Alliance for Africa is holding a bike drive on the Kenilworth side of Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School at 325 N. Kenilworth Avenue in Oak Park.
