Pedal for Peace Bike-a-thon
Join in Chicago’s 20th annual BIKE-A-THON on Sunday, September 30th. Support projects in Central America and Colombia that address issues of education and health. Collect pledges for your ride from friends and family.
Meet at the Clock Tower just north of Addison and the Lake Bike Path before 2:00 PM (or 55th and Bike Path).
Ride 12 or 24 miles and arrive back for the Central American Fiesta with music and food!
It’s a great day biking the lakefront with Chicago’s finest school kids, young folks, and “mature” riders.
Lombard Rotary Bike Drive
Part of the Village Recycling Extravaganza and is advertised by the Village of Lombard and Waste Management.
Location: Hammerschmidt School, 617 S. Hammerschmidt Avenue.

At DuPage Unitarian Church, located on Old Naperville road - just south of I88 off of Deihl road, east of Naperville road.

Working Bikes Co-Op in 2006 to repeat last year's 5000+ effort
We extend thanks to all who have helped the Working Bikes Co-Op succeed in its mission. The Co-Op distributes about 5500 bikes and wheelchairs a year internationally and to City programs, refugees and day camps in the Chicago area. Donated items are distributed among the local and international projects described below.
