Here is the manifest for the CESTA shipment on 12/19/2009.
260 used adult mountain bikes (front wheels removed and labeled)
37 used adult racing bikes (front wheels removed and labeled)
27 used 20" bmx bikes (front wheels removed and labeled)
237 used adult bike frames (most are bike shop quality)
84 used adult wheels
60 new tires
4 boxes of parts (without the box)

Other organizations would call this 561 bikes.
On Saturday, December 19th we will be filling a container with 500+ bikes bound for CESTA, Friends of the Earth in El Salvador, with our partners at Bikes for the World.
CESTA is an established NGO that receives bikes from Bikes for the World as well as the Village Bicycle Project.
This is the shipping party we tried to hold on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but had to postpone.
Watch this space: if there are any last minute problems getting a shipping container, etc., we will update this posting and send notification on the list-server to the Working Bikes group ...
