The show is free and open to all! 10% of the retail/gallery proceeds from the April 30th Opening Reception will be donated to Chicago’s very own Working Bikes Cooperative.

The city of Warrenville are holding their annual Bike Rodeo on Saturday, May 8th, and will be including a bike collection for Working Bikes.

We'll call it 518 bikes to Uganda ... had trouble closing the door to the shipping container! Comprising 448 used adult mountain bikes, 70 used children's bikes, 9 boxes of used parts, 33 used rubber tires & 2 bags of used inner-tubes.
We will be sending a container of 500 bikes to the Women's Prisoner Support Organization in Uganda, on Saturday May 8th from 10am until 3pm at 2434 S. Western Avenue.
The Chesterton High School Interact Club, sponsored by the Chesterton-Porter Rotary Club, will be holding a bike drive on May 15th from 9 am-3 pm in the high school parking lot.
Used and broken bikes from the community will be gathered and donated to Working Bikes Cooperative, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Chicago.
We crammed 496 bikes into the container - 389 adult & 107 child bikes - and a lot of spares: tyres, tubes, wheels, small parts, etc.
On Saturday, May 15th, at 2434 S. Western Avenue we will be filling a container bound for the Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation with our partners at Bikes for the World.
Woodridge Rotary has scheduled a huge spring cleaning & recycling event again this year, and they will be collecting bicycles for Working Bikes as before.
