The Erie Neighborhood House collected 26 bikes at the end of April, 2008.

The congregation of Edgebrook Lutheran Church and the greater Edgebrook & Niles communities are sponsoring a bike drive in celebration of Earth Day, at 5252 W. Devon Avenue, Chicago.

Trailside Museum's Earth Day Celebration will be hosting a bike drive. They will accept bikes between 10am & 3pm on Sunday the 20th and then between 9am & 4pm each day throughout the following week (April 21st - 26th).

Whole Foods Market in River Forest are sponsoring a bike drive and offering advice on bike tune-ups, etc., in celebration of Earth Day. This is being held outside the store at 7245 W. Lake Street, River Forest, IL 60305.
