The 2nd Annual National Night Out is being held at Cartwright Park on the corner of Grant Street and Prospect Ave Street in Evanston.

Working Bikes will be attending this event, where we will be collecting bike donations.

National Night Out is a unique crime prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). It is designed to: heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anti crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know the neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Hosted by the Cartwright Park Neighborhood Watch, sponsored by Target, contributed to by Union Pizzeria (1245 Chicago Avenue, Evanston) and attended by the Evanston Police Department and Chicago's Working Bikes.
