The Working Bikes Co-Op's Peruvian project sponsor COPRODELI is having a bike drive on Sunday, at the big church near the Haymarket monument: Old St. Patrick’s Church 700 West Adams Street, Chicago, IL 60661.
Drop off gently used or new bicycles for underserved communities in Peru. Bicycles can EMPOWER individuals by providing transportation to work, promote exercise and a healthy lifestyle, and can keep children off the street.
Gabe Levin is holding a bike drive at the West Suburban Temple Har Zion, 1040 N. Harlem in River Forest on Sunday September 30th.
Tim Wetzel will host a bike drive as a part of his Eagle Scout project.
Please donate your used bicycles from 1PM to 5PM at the 1st United Church at 848 Lake Street in Oak Park on Sunday, September 30th.
The bikes will transform people's lives in Angola, Tanzania, Ghana, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Cuba or the U.S.
Join in Chicago’s 20th annual BIKE-A-THON on Sunday, September 30th. Support projects in Central America and Colombia that address issues of education and health. Collect pledges for your ride from friends and family.
Meet at the Clock Tower just north of Addison and the Lake Bike Path before 2:00 PM (or 55th and Bike Path).
Ride 12 or 24 miles and arrive back for the Central American Fiesta with music and food!
It’s a great day biking the lakefront with Chicago’s finest school kids, young folks, and “mature” riders.

Saturday Oct. 6th, we will load from 400 to 500 bikes for Callao, Peru for our partners COPRODELI (coprodeli.org). This follows two bike drives for Peru last weekend at Old St. Pats and an Eagle Scout bike drive in Oak Park.
The "Party" will take place from 8:30 to 1:30 on Saturday at 927 S. Western. So you have to finish the marathon quickly. We will lovingly lower the bikes from the rear window as in the old days.
