"Just to let you know, Ability Bikes received the container from Working Bikes last week and cleared it without a problem. This container was critical in supporting Ability Bikes to generate the needed funds to pay off their 10-year rent deposit for the new storage space, and bank some funds as operating capital.

Thanks for this amazing support. The Ability Bikes workers send their greetings and gratitude. I will keep you informed of project developments in the future."

We filled the Ghana-bound container with 382 used adult mountain bikes with front wheel removed, 108 Used children's bikes (about half 20" wheels and half smaller) complete, 7 bags of innertubes, 6 boxes of parts for Bamboosera & 2 bundles of used mountain bike tires.

Many thanks due to the women of UIC's basketball team, in particular, who came out to Pilsen to help us.

On Saturday, August 21st we will load a container of 500 bikes for our partner Ability Bikes in Ghana. This is one week from this Saturday.

Please take five minutes to watch a video of the unloading of our last shipment in Ghana and a description of the project.

We will start at 10 Am at 2434 S. Western and we should be done by 2 PM.

There will be Pastries and coffee at 10 AM and pizza for lunch.

This is in addition to the usual great companionship.
