C.A.R.E.'s Bike Drive in Lockport
Working Bikes will be collecting used and unwanted bicycles at the 2009 Earth Day Event organised by Citizens Against Ruining the Environment being held in historic Dellwood Park of Lockport, Will County, Illinois.
"As environmentalists we know that every day is Earth Day we also know that events such as this are necessary and an excellent opportunity to educate the public on how they can protect the earth & related health topics & environmental issues such as – Clean Air & Water, Global Warming, Wildlife, Nature…~ all while networking with other Great Organizations & Environmentalists!"
Dellwood Park is on Route 171 (Archer Road & State Street) & Woods Drive, approximately 1 mile south of Downtown Lockport - that is south of 159th (Route 7) on Route 171 (which becomes State Street in Lockport after being Archer Avenue all the way from Chicago). Turn left into the park, if you are driving south, to the Earth Day celebrations!
