Working Bikes

REI are sponsoring a holiday bike drive at their new store in Lincoln Park, located at 1466 N. Halsted Street (Google map), on November 8th.

Crate & Barrel will be sponsoring a bike drive at their Northbrook store this Thursday, between 8:00 am and noon ...

The store is located at 1775 Lake Cook Road in Northbrook, IL 60062, outside the Northbrook Court Shopping Center.

A bike drive is being held in conjunction with the Logan Square Farmers Market, at the SE corner of Logan Boulevard and Milwaukee Avenue.

Drop off a bike and then check out the Sunday Parkways route going south from Logan Square along Kedzie, through Humbolt Park and down to Garfield Park!

The festival at the start of UIC's "Sustainability Week" is being held at Harrison and Morgan.

We will help build a bike storage area behind the Root River Environmental Education Center in Racine, WI.

Working Bikes Co-op will be at the I-Renew Energy Expo, being held at the University of Northern Iowa's Center for Energy and Environmental Education in Cedar Falls, IA.

Working Bikes will be attending UIC's "Transportation Day", which is being held on campus during their "Sustainability Week" celebration.

Working Bikes will be on the East Side (undergrad community). The site is the Lecture Center Plaza, directly west of Student Center East, 750 S. Halsted.

The Hidout's Street party runs from noon-10pm on Saturday and noon-10pm Sunday. Working Bikes will be attending.

The Francis W. Parker School is hosting its annual Community Action Fair for the high school students and faculty. The school is located at 220 W. Webster Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614 (tel: 773/353-3000).
